The Fun Waste of Time

Mar 3, 2020

In this episode of the "Fun Waste of TIme," a new segment called "Ole-Timey Retro Gaming News" is introduced where the crew discusses the Nintendo and Sony hybrid console that almost came to existence. It was the failure of this joint venture that motivated Sony to get into the home gaming console market sparking the development of the successful "PlayStation" brand.

Another new segment, "Home Theater Experience (HTX)" makes its debut.  HTX is for listeners who aspire to have or actually do have a home theater set-up, whether it’s a dedicated home theater that’s light-controlled with a projector, projection screen, and an immersive surround sound system or a fully-equipped media room set-up with a large TV and a great surround sound system to complement the viewing experience.

In this segment, the crew highlights their experience watching movies and TV shows, as well as, playing video games in the “Fun Waste of Time“ theater and whether that content is worthy to recommend that listeners experience it in their own home theaters or media rooms.

The crew also discusses the costume design of Batman in the upcoming "The Batman" movie directed by "Planet of the Apes" franchise helmer, Matt Reeves; the first trailer for the "Candyman" reboot; Bob Iger stepping down as CEO of The Walt Disney Company and much more!

There's all this and plenty more in episode 15 of "The Fun Waste of Time" podcast!
